Corona Virus Affects Our Children 's Mental Health

 Sudipta Roy Ghosh
Some young people are happy to stay home, mental health professionals said, the young kids who are more family focused or young, who don't like to attend school, but now in this deadly world corona crisis period ,they are also affected for staying home for a long time like prisoners. Those who are always very eager to attend school, their struggling can not be expressed in words. They are now kept at home like pet animals. Gradually they are going to traumatic.
Some children are also dealing with more Serious traumatic events related to COVID-19, such as the sicknesses of family members, or relatives experiencing job losses that make it harder to feel their loved ones.
For those personal tragedies our kids are affected at a greater risk of lasting mental health effects. Gradually they are becoming speechless.
Children always are observing that all the time their parents are passing time anxiously, or engaging them talking telephone, observing TV news, UP date news of CORONA. The elders have the capability to consume all agony, so they are absorbing their mental stress in them.
But children can not do this. A number of children are still just grappling with their new normal. Their present locked down situation is giving them such unbearable pain which they only feel but can not express in words, its another problem of our lovely kids.
The almost universal stay at home orders across the whole world have meant a necessary retreat into technology.
There's no more prom or graduation, no one is attending in field game, no one is loitering under the open sky; they are not even in touch of their dear school teachers.
Friends are always a screen away even as an alert about the risk of Covid -19 flood TV or Pop up on line.
The world Health Organization, which has in the past warned against " gaming disorders" is actively encouraging people to play video games.
Actually, now the whole world is passing a heart touchy miserable world crisis period. Everyday our human neighbours are carrying a long dead march. We are locked down in side the four walls of our individuals house. Our loving innocent ever restless children are turning into leaving dead. All around the world our heart, our children are being adapted like endangered animal species. They are detached from school, from their lovely peers, from the lively social activities, from their heart like sweet play ground. They have been stuck with all their emotion on a danger point which is CORONA. Now at every breathing with a sick mentality our kids are driven towards an isolated blind world.
In this situation our children need mental food. In other sense we can say psychological food. Actually, there is no doubt psychology involves studying the mental functioning and general behaviours of both humans and animals.
Social behaviour and mental functioning of human are explained in different way by different scholars. Exploring the neurological and physiological process some of them mentioned (source: Damon & Lerner, 2006)emotion, cognition, perception, motivation, attention brain functioning & personality based any sorts of existence may affected by any sudden change.
Child psychology is not different scene from this. It is as well stated to be application of psychological techniques. Where it involves carrying out research on mental states and development of children.
The development of child physically, mentality and emotionally with the help of parents & teachers allow the identification of helpful information to any evolving challenges in child 's behaviour ( source: Damon & Lerner, 2006).
Nomination of age 12, early -mid puberty, as the time when parents can be the most influenced child out comers. But at the same time, in this period a child needs personal peers, teachers' proximity, schoolings' taste. Here it is mentionable that in some respects, a child may have early development, in this view it is less amenable parental influence will not be the proper proximity to handle the children.
To break our child' s trauma at least we need to open such a way through which they can get taste of their lovely peers, lively school.
In this COVID-19 Virus scattered world crisis period, when the children of the whole world gradually are going to be traumatised need open a number of active online social activity centre. We can open online schooling, interaction meet, through, in this way children can get back their golden days when there was no Corona panic.
A well- developed online course, just like a well - developed traditional course can open up new world of learning for students.
We are proud of being a Bangladeshi as since the first locked down day one of the most prominent school Daffodil international School by name opened online schooling.Over there not the whole Bangladeshi Children are in touch, but a number of students are getting at least the flavour of their lovely & lively school.

How Daffodil International School (DIS) is helping students to develop their moral and social values

Daffodil International School (DIS) was established by the Chairman of the daffodil Family, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, in 2009 with the motto: ‘Value, Culture and Innovation’. DIS always believes that every child is special and in every child there is a unique quality that differentiate him or her from others. DIS nurtures those qualities of students through academics as well as various extra –curriculum activities.  School is a place where children do not only learn about various traditional ranges of subjects but they also do learn about certain moral and social values, to be empathetic towards peers in class room etc. DIS always motivates students through its daily specific moral lesson topic that helps to build up students’ moral and social values. Topics like respect everyone, do not cheat, self-respect, confession etc help to boost students' moral values whether  moral lesson topics like be confident, never lose hope, have courage etc help a student to be a optimistic, confident p
